Revert "Add helper function that will be necessary for recursively removing a group of instructions without dangling pointer issues." This reverts commit 3d6ec9885426b668450578303e9fc55c4a399ffc. The new function signature is not needed after all, as far as I can currently tell. Swift SVN r10393
